He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Musical Performance, specializing in Classical Guitar, and a Bachelor of Performing Arts degree in Classical Guitar, both with Maximum Distinction from the University of Chile.

He began his musical studies with his father and later completed his formal studies at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Chile with Maestro Luís Orlandini. He studied Chamber Music with Maestro Elmma Miranda (a student of Claudio Arrau).

He has taken master classes with Maestros David Russell, Eduardo Isaac, Ricardo Gallén, Eduardo Fernández, Carles Trepat, Álvaro Pierri, Alex Garrobé, Margarita Escarpa, Dejan Ivánovich, among others, with lutenists Octavio Lafourcade and Eduardo Egües, and with the legendary composer Leo Brouwer.

He has given recitals in Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Uruguay, Spain, Italy, Albania, and Morocco, and has received awards in Chile and Spain. He is currently the Artistic Director of the FCIG Ciudad de Mula.
