Augustin Wiedemann enseñó en el Mozarteum de Salzburgo y fue profesor invitado en el Royal College of Music de Estocolmo/Suecia. Actualmente enseña como profesor de guitarra y música de cámara en Stella Vorarlberg Privathochschule für Musik en Feldkirch/Austria y trabaja como director ejecutivo de la “Hermann Hauser Guitar Foundation”.

Augustin Wiedemann was the 1992 winner of the 6th International Guitar Competition held in Havanna, Cuba and performed as a soloist in most European countries, USA, South Corea, Russia and Cuba as well as with diverse orchestras including the “Members of the Munich Philharmonic”. Alongside his classical concerts, Augustin Wiedemann also plays in the crossover-project “Classic meets Soul” with jazz singer and guitarist Kosho (member of the most successful German Hip Hop/Rockband “Söhne Mannheims”). Frequently he is invited to be a jury member at international competitions such as "Concurso Andres Segovia" (Linares/Spain), "GFA Young Artists Competition" and others.
