SAŠA DEJANOVIĆ - vintage guitar, Croatia
SAŠA DEJANOVIĆ was born in Bosnia-Herzegovina in 1965. Dedicated to the classical guitar from early childhood, he studied in Zagreb with professor Istvan Römer and Darko Petrinjak. He won many competitions and received a scholarship which lead him to finish his musical studies at the Royal College of Music of London. He has performed extensively throughout Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Portugal, Bulgaria, Poland, Check Republic, Uruguay, USA, Chile, Mexico, Norway, Israel, China, South Korea, Thailand, Russia, Agentina and Japan. Saša has recorded various CD's for German, Austrian, Spanish and Croatian networks. One of his latest performances as a soloist was the Malcolm Arnolds Guitar Concerto Op.67 for guitar and orchestra accompanied by the North Czech Philharmony, conducted by Maestro Alfonso Scarano. His last CD, "Senderos" was released in 2017 in Zagreb, Croatia. Currently he lives and works in Vrsar (Croatia-Adriatic Sea), where he leads the guitar festival “GitarISTRA“.
