ROBERTO FABBRI - classical guitar, Italy
ROBERTO FABBRI is an important ambassador of the guitar in Italy and tirelessly works as an interpreter, composer, teacher, publicist and writer. He is director and professor of classical guitar at the Academy "Novamusica e Arte" in Rome and also teaches classical guitar at the Institute of High Artistic and Musical Formation "Giulio Briccialdi" in Terni. In February of 2009, Roberto opened the concert of Ennio Morricone in the Belgrade arena to an audience of 20,000. In 2010 he received the prestigious "Socio de Honor" award at the "Andrés Segovia International Festival" in Madrid and the "Special Education Award 2010" by the Carias publishing house with more than 150,000 copies sold of his books. On November 6, 2012 he released his third album, "Nei tuoi occhi" and signed a contract with the Sony Classical label, becoming part of the exclusive group of classical guitarists Sony formed by Julian Bream, John Williams, LAGQ and Sharon Isbin.
