PACO SECO TRIO & LAURA VITAL, SPAIN - Andalusian music
PACO SECO spanish guitar
MIGUEL DOMÍNGUEZ clarinets & soprano sax
ÁLVARO GARRIDO percussion
Paco Seco Trio is composed of three very open, versatile and creative musicians:
Miguel Domínguez, one of the best clarinetists in Spain, the soloist in the Seville Symphony Orchestra. Álvaro Garrido, a self-taught percussionist with enormous versatility allowing him to play styles from medieval music to flamenco. Paco Seco, a guitarist and composer with an eclectic musical background and his own technique and style, a result of the symbiosis between the classical and flamenco guitar.
Between them they have toured the world with their music and have performed in important venues and festivals, to name a few: Sarajevo Sevdah Festival, International Spanish Music Festival of Cadiz, Mediterranean Festival of Genoa, Omis Guitar Festival in Croatia, International Music Festival Of Hamamatsu in Japan.
Their music invokes a musical journey inspired from sounds of Andalucia, Arabia, India all with a contemporary spirit. Miguel Domínguez gives color to and defines the melodies. Álvaro Garrido remodels and stylizes the rhythms and Paco Seco brings it all together with passion to create this sonorous treasure.
