EDUARDO PASCUAL, SPAIN - Classical Guitar
Eduardo Pascual has been a guitar teacher at the Conservatory of Valladolid since 1992 and has given master classes in the most prestigious conservatories in the world. He has been on tours in more than 30 countries and performed in some of the most important concert halls and theatres in Europe, Canada, USA, Central and South America.
He is originally from Torrelavega, Cantabria, Spain. He has been honoured giving master classes with David Russell, Demetrio Ballesteros and Jose L. Rodrigo, amongst others. He usually acts as a jury member in numerous international guitar competitions, such as the GFA (Canada), JoAnn Falleta Guitar Concerto Competition (NY), Rust (Austria), Lima (Peru), Guitars Without Borders (Chihuahua), etc.
Renowned composers like Nikolay Yordanov, Victor Hugo Ñopo, Roberto Fabbri, Uros Dojcinovic, Sandro Di Stefano, Sabino De Bari, Rodrigo Nefthalí and Marco Alvírez, have dedicated their works to him.
Eduardo Pascual plays with guitars made by Gabriel Hernandez (Mexico), Armin Hanika (Germany), José Antonio Lagunar (Madrid) and the 25th Anniversary Edition Guitar by Manuel Contreras (1995, Spain), who sponsored and especially dedicated his guitars to Pascual. He has also been sponsored by Valenciana Strings and Veerkamp, Mexico.
